2022 IAPD/IPRA Soaring to New Heights Conference
The Links Team attended this year's park district conference representing both Links Technology and their app, CentralParks.
After having a virtual conference last year, this year's in person IAPD/IPRA Soaring to New Heights Conference was a huge success!
The team talked to several park districts and other companies affiliated throughout the two days exhibiting. Many attendees enjoyed learning about our cyber security training, managed it services, CentralParks app, and our website design services. All attendees that stopped at our booth took our Links and CentralParks swag. This year we offered pens, notepads, bags, sunglasses, microfibers, and webcam covers with most swag purchased through our client, Divine Signs and Graphics, Inc. Not only was the team giving away swag but we also had our Chipping Challenge that attendees raved over!
The Chipping Challenge is a game that is a mixture of both chipping a golf ball and the game bags/cornhole. Like in bags the object is to get a bag in the hole, in our Chipping Challenge the object is to chip a golf ball into one of the board's cups. We gave all players three chances to make it into the cups and just by chipping, they were entered into the Chipping Challenge. At the end of the conference, we randomly selected three winners. First place won a pair of AirPods. Second place won a free year of our Security Awareness Training Program. Third place won a free security audit.
One of the best parts of the conference was being able to see our current clients! Schaumburg Park District (a website, IT and CentralParks app client) stopped by as well as Roselle Park District (a website, IT, cyber security and CentralParks app client). Many other clients stopped by and participated in the Chipping Challenge too.
