PMP Process Flow:
Before applying, make sure you meet one of the following sets of PMP Certification requirements:
Option A:
Four-Year Degree
- 36 months of experience leading projects within the past 8 years
- 35 contact hours of project management education or training
Option B:
Secondary Degree
- High-School diploma or Associate degree
- 60 months of experience leading projects within the past 8 years
- 35 contact hours of project management education or training
Exam Details
- 230 minutes
- 180 questions from three domains: People, Process, and Business Environment
- Question types:

Online exam takers are allotted two 10-minute breaks, while in-person exam takers are not provided breaks.
