Senior Software Engineer
Job Duties: Analyzing and understanding requirements and providing the management with a detail design of system and data flow; Working with business users on reporting and dashboard requirements; Designing project plans and maintaining the project plan using Microsoft project tools; Scheduling the Informatica Workflows and Schell Scripts using both Autosys Schduling and $U errors; Managing mission critical development/production databases; Coding complex scripts for the Teradata Utilities and fine-tuning the queries to enhance performance; Configuring, designing and developing OBIEE repository; Creating dashboards and reports in OBI Answers; Working with BI Publisher; Handling various phases of software development lifecycle, including gathering requirements, writing business and functional specifications, design, development, enhancements, maintenance, testing and training.
Requirements: Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science or related discipline and two years experience in the job offered or in the related occupation of Programmer Analyst, Systems Analyst, or closely related occupation. The position requires one year of experience with Oracle 9i and 10g; SQL and PL/SQL; Business Objects; and Informatica.
